Description
2nd Kings continues the tragic history of the divided Kingdom of Israel. It picks up with Ahaziah (the son of Ahab) in the North, while Jehoshaphat was ruling over Judah. After 19 consecutive evil kings, Israel is taken captive by Assyria, while only 8 of the 20 kings of Judah were faithful before their captivity to Babylon.
